Traveling Tips : Must Haves

These are my absolute, must have, won’t travel without items!

The most important travel item for me is a sleeping mask.

I have slept with one since 3rd or 4th grade. I am able to nap lightly without one, but I CANNOT sleep without it. They’re just peaceful, and make you relax. In order for me to sleep I need complete darkness and these insure this! ASOS and Missguided always have cute and cheap ones!

Bag Lady *Erykah Bach voice*… you’re going to be one, might as well make sure it’s of good quality!

There are tons of cute cheap luggage bags that make for adorable pictures, but they won’t last you. With all the throwing and dragging that airlines do, and not to mention the wear and tear you do yourself, it’s best to invest in a hard case. I chose the Marble CalPak  set. It’s super cute, durable and comes with a two year warranty. CalPak has tons of colors, shapes, and even packing cubes to choose from! You won’t regret purchasing their line.

Headphones, of course!

I personally don’t know anyone who is able to travel without head phones! This is my second pair of Beats . I personally don’t like things in or near my ears, which is why I don’t care for pods. I love all things gold, so of course I had to get gold Beats (although I kind of want these rose gold now). These headphones can withstand A LOT! I workout and run while wearing these. They get thrown around in my bag while going through TSA, and everything in between. They come with a protective case which is perfect for those who typically break things, but I have been lucky enough to not have mine break and I never use my case.

Stay in the shade!

I don’t know about you all, but I throw my shades all around in my bag to get scratched and bent up. So when it comes to traveling, I’d rather leave my expensive ones at home and pick up a cheap pair. Of course I go to ASOS for super cute shades for less than $20.

Pose for the camera now…

You can’t travel without taking quality photos! I have the Canon EOS Rebel T6. I have taken photography classes, but by no means do I consider myself to be a photographer. This is a super easy camera to use and takes nice pictures! I love it because it is wi-fi enabled so I send my photos over to my phone. Amazon has the best bundle deal you can get for it. I also have my Fujifilm Instax Mini 9 for cute selfies!

Last but not least, a passport case!

I personally, think the American passports are ugly (I love the Nigerian and South Korean passports!) You accessorize everything else in your life, why not your passport?! Bando has the cute, durable, AND affordable ones!
